Acupuncture Awareness Week 2013

Just to let you all know its Acupuncture Awareness Week from 25th of February to 3rd of March 2012. I will be posting some articles but for a quick read of what is going on have a look at:

http://www.introducingacupuncture.co.uk/

Acupuncture Awareness Week is supported by the British Acupuncture Council and aims to help better inform people about the ancient practice of traditional acupuncture. With 2.3 million acupuncture treatments carried out each year, acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practised in the UK today. Yet despite its widely recognised health benefits many people only discover acupuncture as a last resort.

If you would like to find out more about acupuncture and how it can benefit you, you’ll find independent expert advice here.

I am sure you will read lots of other articles regarding how there is no scientific evidence blah blah blah, but that is pretty much due to the nay sayers not being able to read Chinese or any other far eastern language.  Compounding this is the fact that the far eastern researchers don’t see the need to pander to our language and publish everything translated, but we are getting there slowly but surely.
